Beginning Inspections
We are starting in Quito with areas surrounding the city on the north end. The Lascanos are helping us get information for our mission and the new Quito West Mission that will begin July 1st. Sister Ethington and Sister Rodriguez are great friends of ours from Coca. Sister Rodriguez isn't keeping warm in Quito, though. It does feel quite cold after living in the Oriente.
We got to visit our old home in Iñaquito. The Caldwells lived here during their mission, but we only stayed 2 weeks.
Their poor plant is really dead. Missionaries have the toughest time throwing things away.
In San Carlos, we ran into Elder Eatough and Elder Zirker. They are wonderfully calm and sweet missionaries. Elder Zirker has only a few months left.
I noticed this collection at a bookshop in the Scala Mall. You have a little fantasy in Lord of the Rings; there's some British historical fiction; perhaps you like an Israeli perspective; and Maps of Meaning would be hard in any language. I think the cookbook is for me.
